"Release the toxic and infectious-Spreaders of misery,Souls destroying souls-And poisonous liars.
Awaken from the hallucinations-And take back your heart.Reclaim your self-esteem-And leave the toxic be.” ― Giorge Leedy

Hey everyone! There’s an animal shelter by my work that is full of awesome people and animals. There is one dog in particular I really want to see get a home because she has been in the shelter for over a year. Her name is Melody and they have fun with her all the time. I wanted to show my appreciation for what they do so I made a painting of Melody and donated the painting to the shelter Sept 11th. They ended up posting it on Facebook which I thought was pretty cool :) Hope it gets her more attention! If you wanted to check it out you can see it here:

Or better yet, go there and see it for yourself and spend some time with the puppies! And if anyone lives in the Cleveland area, maybe stop by or help spread the word for these awesome pups. Thanks!

Not in Kansas Anymore on Threadless
Help me get printed! Vote for my design in the Threadless watercolor competition :) (5 is the best score, 1 is the lowest) Thanks!
Can you spot the 2 witches?
Some people were asking about funding on Threadless. It works like kickstarter. If you fund the shirt you only get charged if 49 others decide to fund the shirt also within the deadline. If 50 total people fund the shirt, and you were one of them, you get $5 off what it would cost everyone else and free domestic shipping. It also helps promote the design within the website :)

"Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore." - DorothyThe metaphor of Oz, a sundering of one world and falling into another. Sometimes we voluntarily jump into a set of new circumstances, other times a whirlwind picks us up and spits us out into something unfamiliar. The journey may be unpredictable, dangerous, painful, and world-shattering. But it can also be perspective-changing, a catalyst for growth, beautiful beyond compare, and an invaluable opportunity. If you want a brain, then feed your curiosity, search for those with answers. If what you seek is a heart, simply make time for others. And if you want to see courage, by all means look in a mirror. When the world hands you something awful, turn it into something worthwhile and inspiring. If you do this, upon returning from your journey there will be no place like home.
